C2C-NewCap is one of the selected companies in the highly competitive European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator Programme, with HYCAP 2.0 project, being awarded with 6 million Euros (in equity).
HYCAP 2.0 project to expand GO-START product
The HYCAP 2.0 project proposal submitted by C2C-NewCap to the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator Programme (cut-off June 2022) has passed all evaluation steps and has been approved for funding. The total investment of 6 million Euro has been approved, half of which will be assured by the EIC Fund, managed by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
HYCAP 2.0 will be a milestone in the company growth and will focus on GO-START production scale-up, effective product design cost-down, expansion of commercial team and commercial internationalisation.
Success rate of Accelerator programme is generally less than 8 %.
EIC Accelerator programme
The EIC Accelerator is a funding programme under Horizon Europe that offers support to innovative, game-changing start-ups and SMEs that have the ambition to scale up, and are looking for substantial funding, with too-high risk for private investors alone to invest.
The EIC Accelerator June 2022 cut-off received a total of more than 1000 applications, from which 232 companies were interviewed by juries of experienced investors and entrepreneurs, that selected 75 innovative start-ups for funding.
