C2C-NewCap is a portuguese company that develops and manufactures electric energy storage solutions based on supercapacitors.
We are looking for an experienced professional with previous experience in high voltage energy storage systems.
Required skills:
- MSc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Power electronics, Electrotechnical engineering and related fields.
- +5 year of experience in R&D or industry laboratory environment (preferable)
- Experience in mid- and high voltage battery systems and related safety procedures (preferable)
- Experience in energy storage industry environment (preferable)
- Experience in PCB and/or BMS design (preferable)
- Curious, disciplined, flexible
- Innovation-focus
- Team-player
- Good English communication skills (written and oral)
- Portuguese, english proficiency
What will you do:
- Design and implementation of supercapacitors systems for stationary applications
- Contribute to decision-making in materials selection for isolators, control and safety systems
- Design and implement high voltage supercapacitor testing protocols
- Design of cells, module and parts in CAD
- Contribute to project periodic technical reports
- Work independently in a cross-functional team
- Develop methods to handle by-products and waste
